What standards apply for Green Card / DV Lottery photos?

Green card photos must comply with USCIS standards: 2×2 inches (51×51 mm) square format, white background, no glasses (mandatory since 2016), minimum 600×600 pixels digitally. Non-compliant photos are grounds for direct elimination. Our studio ensures full compliance.

What is the difference between a biometric photo and a regular ID photo?

Biometric photos are taken to special standards readable by digital systems. Face proportions, background colour and lighting are adjusted per institution. Today, all official authorities in Turkey require biometric photos; the term 'ID photo' is now mostly limited to private institutions and school records.

What is the difference between a Schengen visa photo and a Turkish passport photo?

Turkish passports follow ICAO standards at 50×60 mm large format, while Schengen visas use 35×45 mm format where the face must cover 70-80% of the photo. Both require a white background, though Schengen also accepts light gray.

Can I wear glasses in a US visa photo?

No. Glasses have not been permitted in US visa and passport photos since 2016. This rule applies to all US application photos.

Can I get a digital copy of my photos?

Your photos are archived in high resolution and safely stored. You can reorder prints anytime you need them.

Do you take ID photos for babies and children?

How long are photos valid?

Photos submitted to official institutions must generally have been taken within the last 6 months. Avoid white or very light-coloured clothing, and headwear other than for religious reasons should not be worn.
